This is one of my favorite photos of all time. That woman getting ready for her wedding, yeah, she's my Grandmother. She died of cancer before my parents even met. I'm her namesake. I'm also told that my eyes are just like hers. I love this photo for so many reasons- its from the '50s, black & white, I looove wedding pictures, & it gives me a beautiful connection to the woman I never knew.
